McAllen Heritage Center's newest exhibit in celebration
of all things spooky- "McAllen's cemeteries"

A wise man once said "There are only two unavoidable things in life: Death and Taxes." It is the first of these to which MHC pays tribute this month with our special exhibit on McAllen Cemeteries. The exhibit features a brief history of the La Piedad Cemetery, Roselawn Cemetery, Valley Memorial Gardens and Temple Emanuel Funeral Park, as well as photos and other mementos.

During October, MHC invites visitors to bring photos or videos to share of their McAllen Halloween Memories, especially costumes, Halloween carnivals and parties. On Saturday, October 27th, stop by for treats or to catch a classic scary movie from 11am to 4pm.

The McAllen Heritage Center - museum of history and culture is located at 301 S. Main in downtown McAllen across the street from JC Penney. We offer additional parking in our rear parking area.
