McAllen State Bank (MSB) exhibit

An idea conceived several years back became a reality January 25, 2025 when the MSB reunion was held at the Rio Bank event center in McAllen. A part of the evening consisting of a mock bank office area along with bank memorabilia gathered for the momentous occasion. The bank was chartered in 1945 by Vernon "Doc" Neuhaus and closed in 1988. Ernest "Ernie" R. Williams served as the last bank President and CEO. The exhibit will be on display through June 2025.
